As you may know, political cartoons are created to add humor and awareness to a pressing topic. It's clear that increased human activity does have an affect on the environment, in turn having an affect on us. From deforestation to accelerated Arctic ice melting, it's mostly blamed on the human species. Of course there are natural (biological) systems that can impact global warming, but anthropogenic involvement are increasing the rate in which global climate change is naturally supposed to occur. Scary? Well yes it is, but there's still time to improve ourselves since correcting our mistakes means mitigation, which then means billions of dollars pointlessly spent. We'll start with the first, and one of my most favorite topics--deforestation.
